[Press release] : 2CRSi wins a new deal with EdgeMode, a leading mining and High Performance Computing technology company
EdgeMode significantly increases mining and #HPC capacity through additional 2CRSi's green high-performance servers . Aiming to deliver best-in-class crypto mining and HPC cloud infrastructure, #EdgeMode initially selected 2CRSi’s solutions in February 2021, a collaboration that had since been extended with follow-up orders in March1 and in July.
Following impressive quarterly growth that exceeded forecast and series of investment, EdgeMode has placed another order of $1.5 million for additional energy-efficient #OCtoPus servers, bringing orders to a total amount over $4 million and confirming 2CSRi as a preferred tech partner.

[News Release] : the European Commission's 100%-European pilot systems based on RISC-V accelerators starts today with 2CRSi
2CRSi is a proud member of the consortium selected by the European Commission to design and manufacture sovereign 100%-European pilot systems based on RISC-V accelerators, a first step towards the realization of future operational European exascale systems. There are 19 public and private contributors in “The European PILOT”, each working on a specific part of the project. 2CRSi is awarded the position of hardware manufacturer. We will be responsible for manufacturing PCB boards and for providing server-based solutions around the OCtoPus platform to host systems and open compute accelerator solutions. Our teams will also work on the integration of the solution in the immersion tanks and will provide the communication between the tanks of the system.
The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking project has just started on December 1st 2021 and will last 42 months. How ? By delivering the first demonstration of an all-European full stack (software, hardware, and integrated system) HPC ecosystem based on open technologies created, designed, and manufactured in Europe.
This pilot demonstrates a clear near-term path to European technology autonomy. Within this consortium of 9 countries and 19 members, France is represented by two major players of their respective sector. 2CRSi and the Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives, the French Research and Technology organization, a major player all along the advanced computing and HPC value chain.

The Board of Directors met on 30 November 2021 to approve the Group’s financial statements for the period ended on 31 August 2021. A limited review of the consolidated half-year financial statements is being finalised by the statutory auditors. The half-year financial report will be made available very shortly.

We are proud to announce that 2CRSi is now a certified member of the Solar Impulse Foundation, World Alliance for Efficient Solutions thanks to our ground breaking OCtoPus 21 inch server solution designed in 2017 while we were trying to improve the energy efficiency of a standard cluster. We rethought the implementation of fans and power supply at the rack level and managed to reduce the power consumption of our servers by up to 23% (compared to equivalent conventional systems). To address sustainability challenges while enabling economic growth, Bertrand Piccard and the Solar Impulse Foundation have identified 1000+ clean and profitable solutions. The Board of Directors met on June 30th 2021 to approve the Group’s financial statements for the period ended on 28 February 2021. The consolidated financial statements have been audited. The auditors’ report certifying the financial statements is currently being prepared. The annual financial report will be published at the end of the week.

BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking is replacing part of its server farm used for risk calculations as well as reduce its environmental impact. The Bank invested in a new, more efficient 2CRSi server solution that recycles heat generated by the servers to warm the building it is housed in, reducing the associated electricity consumption by 64%.
